Open house during Jaakon Päivät! Friday 21/7 & Saturday 22/7.
Jaakon Päivät is a city festival organized at the end of July every year in the city of Pietarsaari, Finland.
The festival was preceded by the Turistmarknad event, which was initiated in 1974 by the boat traffic on Jakob Lines and consisted of sing-along events and music with performances from both Skellefteå and Pietarsaari.
Fristaden will this year hold an open house during Jaakon Päivät on Friday between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. and on Saturday between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The public will have the opportunity to come and see the space where we at Fristaden operate and the areas that will be available to children and young people in the future while waiting for Fristaden to receive the opportunity to acquire a place in central Pietarsaari.
There will be sales of coffee/juice and home-baked (lactose-free) Choco-coco squares for only €1; the profits go directly to Fristaden.
In the yard, there'll be an opportunity for private individuals to rent flea market tables (you'll need to bring your own table) for only €5 on both days! You'll pay on-site. *NOTE! With weather reservations*
You can register a place by filling in the contact form at the bottom of the page. You can also send a message directly to info@fristaden or get in touch on tel: 046-840 6423. WELCOME!
On the same note, the collection of school supplies begins now, before school starts!
So if you have extra backpacks, pens, erasers, etc., you can donate them now at our collection point at Lindskogsgatan 20 between 10 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. every weekday.
